living room

The homeowner desired a simpler space but wasn't sure what to keep and what to remove.  Years of collecting decor made it hard to prioritize. Like most homes, there was too much furniture and decor making the space feel busy and unrestful.
After understanding their needs, changes were made to beautify the space, making it feel bigger and function better.  Fresh paint and other minor purchases created a whole new look. Additional suggestions would be an area rug under the coffee table and new throw pillows.

kitchen

This kitchen had great bones with quality cabinets and appliances.  The homeowner was willing to make a few updates to freshen it up.
By removing clutter, changing out cabinet knobs to black and removing the large barstools with a simpler version, the space improved dramatically.  An investment in new, laminate countertop was designed to look like granite with flat edges for about 1/4 of the cost.

dining room

This dining room felt dated and was overstuffed with too much furniture.  The homeowner wanted to update it but wasn't sure where to start.
Easy changes like updating the paint and curtains brightened up the space.  Removing the dated hutch with a black buffet added a nice pop.  Removing extra pieces that weren't necessary then adding plants and artwork brought it all together.  Additional ideas would be to update the table runner seasonally and change to heavier curtains in the winter.  A wreath or round mirror would also look great above the buffet.
